We are proud of all the accomplishments of our Reading staff and students...
Good Luck, Blue Devils!
Reading High School's boys basketball team beat Georgetown 66-46 to advance to the District finals! It's their first District Championship game since 2005.
The District finals game will be held on Sunday, March 10, at 1 p.m. at the University of Dayton Arena. Tickets are available at Reading High School for $6.
The Blue Devil Wrestling Team was in Troy, Ohio for the Districts with the top 4 qualifying in each weight class for the State Championships. Reading had 4 wrestlers compete at districts: Orlando Smith, Caden Conner, Michel Carter, and Colton Robins.
Colton Robins won four times and is a District Champ and STATE BOUND! His record is now 34-2 with 124 career victories. The OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament will be held March 7-9.
Big thank you to the Reading community for your support! Good luck, Blue Devils!
GO BLUE DEVILS!
Congrats, Mock Trial!
RHS Mock Trial team’s great season came to an end on February 15th at the Regional Championship. The team defeated Mason in the first trial and lost a close one to Indian Hill in trial two. Junior attorney Erin Vaughn was named best attorney against Mason and Senior Captain Anna Sofio was named best witness against Indian Hill. Congrats to the entire team and coaches Andy Janig and John McLellan for their outstanding accomplishments this year.
Creativity in the Classroom
Check out the pictures of RMS teacher Corrine Crain’s student work from her 8th-grade math class. The students used their knowledge of the Pythagorean Theorem and irrational numbers to create spiral designs.
New Professional Partnerships
Thanks to RHS personal finance teacher Brian Page for his work in launching a new program to connect current high school students with Reading graduates or residents who are professionals in the career field of each student's interest. If you know of any graduates or residents who may be willing to participate in this valuable partnership, please reach out to Brian.
