Reading Mock Trial Team Heads to State Again! Mock Trial Regional Champions

Reading High School Mock Trial team continued their undefeated season at the Regional Championship in Batavia on Friday, February 10.  Wins over senior teams from Mason and Milford earned the program a 9th trip to the State Championships.

District's Policies on Illnesses

It’s that time of year when we see more illnesses. In all of our buildings we are seeing respiratory illnesses, such as colds with coughs and sore throats, and gastro-intestinal, or stomach, illnesses. This is reminder of our district’s policies regarding illness and a few things you can do to prevent the spread of illnesses.

2017 Educator of Year Nominations

Chuck LaFata is accepting nominations for the 2017 Educator of the Year for Reading Community City Schools.    If you have an educator (teachers, counselors, administrators, psychologists, etc.) that you would like to nominate, please complete the attached application form and return to your building principal or to the superintendent’s office no later than Friday, March 17, 2017.

2017-2018 Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration will begin on February 1, 2017.

All completed registration packets must be submitted in person at the Central Registration Office, 1301 Bonnell Avenue, 2nd Floor. Packets and a list of required documentation is available in each elementary office, on-line @ www.readingschools.org or at the board office.
