I have been a art teacher at Reading High School for 20 years. Previously I have taught in Kenton County Schools, Sycamore Schools, and Lakota School District. I received my BA in Fine Arts in Art Education from the College of Mt. St. Joseph and a Masters in Education from Xavier University with post graduate work at Walsh University.
I currently am the advisor for the school yearbook, PANDEMONIUM.
I enjoy working with students, helping them to develop skills which they will use the rest of their lives. The Arts open so many doors for students and helps them to become well-rounded students.
Why teach one subject, when through art I teach them all. Students learn in art how all things are connected. They learn about the beauty in art and how to appreciate beauty in all things. The basics they learn in art classes they will use in their everyday lives.
As one would expect, most of my favorite pastimes involve some type of creative work. I love to read, enjoy scrapbooking, painting, and photography. I love to photograph just about everything.
