Mark your calendars! FREE Tax File Day at Reading High School is on March 6th. Over the past two years, United Way volunteers helped our Reading students file their tax returns for FREE at school. In total, over the past two years participating Reading students have received nearly $12,000 in tax refunds! [Note - refunds will not be processed until after the government shutdown].
If you had a job in 2018 that required you to complete a W-4, you will or have received a W-2, which you need to keep to file a tax return. The program utilized for this service is called Make Work Pay. The United Way volunteers will help our personal finance students during the day and after school for any other member of the Reading student body. If you have Mr. Brian Page second semester, check your schedule to confirm the bell you are in his class.
What you need to bring on tax filing day is in the attached flyer.
Take 30 seconds to complete this Google Form to participate on March 6th during Mr. Brian Page's class or after school. https://goo.gl/forms/J2ylkdl7qfs9OEXG2
