NCAA Spring Signing Day

On Wednesday, May 1st, our school celebrated the Spring National NCAA Signing Day, as ten senior athletes officially committed to colleges and universities. This brings our senior signing count for the class of 2024 to seventeen, a testament to their hard work and dedication.

For these student-athletes, signing day represents years of effort and a commitment to pursue sports at the collegiate level. It's a reflection of their talent and the support they've received from coaches, families, and our community.

Congratulations to each of our senior signees. Your dedication has brought you to this moment, and we're confident you'll continue to excel. We're excited to support you as you represent our school at the collegiate level.

The following penned their National Letter of Intent: 

1. Jordan Chandler--Tiffin University--Women's Soccer: A dynamic playing style and a keen eye for the game, Jordan brings a wealth of skill and determination to the field. Her versatility and strategic thinking make her a valuable asset to any team.

2. Jaidyn Covert--Wittenberg University--Women's Basketball: Her agility, court vision, and scoring prowess, Jaidyn is a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court. Her dedication to her craft, coupled with her strong work ethic, makes her a valuable addition to Wittenberg's women's basketball program

3. Austin Fancher--University of Mount Union--Football: Austin excels on the gridiron with a combination of athleticism, determination, and strategic thinking. His passion for the game and commitment to excellence make him a standout player.

4. Mia Hankerson--Wittenberg University--Women's Basketball: Known for her versatility, tenacity, and basketball IQ, Mia is a dynamic player on the court. Her dedication to her craft and leadership qualities make her a valuable addition to Wittenberg's women's basketball program

5. Marisa Meinking--University of Mount Union--Cheer: Her infectious enthusiasm, precise movements, and dedication to excellence, Marisa embodies the essence of cheerleading. Her talent and leadership on the sidelines make her an invaluable asset
 
6. Payton Mitchell--Wilmington College--Women's Soccer: Her versatility and strong work ethic, coupled with her exceptional skills, dedication, and strategic thinking on the field, make Payton a dynamic presence in the game. 
 
7. Chris Powers--Wilmington College--Men's Basketball: Chris's defense, scoring ability, and overall athleticism will make him a dynamic player on the court. His dedication to the game and his leadership will also make him a standout at the collegiate level.
 
8. Raegan Rigsby--University of Mount Union--Cheer: Her vibrant spirit and passion for cheer along with her commitment to excellence and to motivating athletes and spectators alike will make Raegan a dynamic addition to the cheer squad
 
9. Chelsea Simpson--Mount Vernon Nazarene University--Women's Soccer: Agility, Coachability, and overall natural ability on the soccer field, along with her dedication to the sport and strong work ethic she is certain to make an impact right away. 
 
10. Ian Simpson--Mount Saint Joseph University--Soccer: A dynamic prescence of tactical ability, expectional skill, and natural leader he will become a important piece to the Men's Soccer team.
