“The Board believes that the next Superintendent needs to have a full understanding of why and how the strategic plan was developed, where we are as a district and the goals moving forward”, said Board President Beth Wernery. “The Board of Education feels very strongly that Dr. Davis has this knowledge and experience to lead Reading Schools into the future”.
Davis has also served as principal of Reading Middle School for four years, assistant principal at Sycamore Junior High School for two years and assistant principal at Mercer Elementary for 3 years. Our school district is at the heart of our community and built upon a foundation of tradition and excellence. I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with our community, staff, and students while focusing on a culture of excellence across the district. I am proud to be a Blue Devil.” Davis said.
