Welcome Jake Peters - Our New Head of Maintenance!

Dear Reading Community City Schools Family,

We are thrilled to introduce you to our new Head of Maintenance, Jake Peters! Jake brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to our team, and we couldn't be more excited to have him on board.

Jake joins us from FC Cincinnati, where he served as the Facility Manager at the training facility. With a remarkable ten-year background in maintenance, he is well-equipped to take on the challenges of ensuring our school facilities run smoothly and efficiently.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jake is a devoted family man, married to Krystle, and the proud father of two wonderful children, a 2 ½-year-old boy named Maverick and a 2-month-old girl named Charlotte.

Jake's has a passion for sports, doing projects around the house, and has a strong appetite for learning and enjoys embracing new challenges. Notably, Jake's journey includes an inspirational story of resilience, as he overcame a motorcycle accident in 2018, resulting in a prosthetic leg. He now dedicates some of his spare time to support and guide other amputees through the challenges they may face, demonstrating his compassion and strength of character.

Reading Community City Schools is delighted to welcome Jake Peters to our family, and we are confident that his expertise, dedication, and commitment to excellence will enhance the maintenance services that are vital to the success of our school community.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Jake as he embarks on this new chapter with us. We look forward to the positive impact he will undoubtedly make, and we can't wait to see our facilities shine under his capable leadership.

Welcome, Jake! We're ready to get to work alongside you and create a bright future together.
