Jasmine Reyes Makes History: First-Ever Female Victory in Reading Junior High Wrestling

On January 3rd, Jasmine Reyes, a talented student-athlete at Reading Junior High, made history by achieving two remarkable victories in the Jr. High Wrestling Meet at Taylor HS. This remarkable feat has been a source of immense pride and joy for the Reading Junior High community and Athletic Department,  as Jasmine's first victory marks the first-ever female win in the school's history for this category.

The varsity coaches at Reading Junior High, who have witnessed Jasmine's dedication and skill development, expressed their elation at this historic achievement. They noted Jasmine's exceptional performance and her role in paving the way for future female athletes at the school.

In recognition of her outstanding talents, Jasmine has been extended an invitation to participate in Taylor’s All-Girls Team Tournament on Jan. 28th. This invite stands as a clear recognition of Jasmine's relentless effort and resolve, highlighting her ability to thrive in increasingly competitive settings.
