Senior Class Teams Up with Magnified Giving for Third Consecutive Year

For the third year in a row, the senior class has partnered with Magnified Giving, which is an organization that promotes philanthropy by bringing nonprofit organizations and students together. Students research the social cause which the NPO is attempting to address. Then, they conduct a site visit and interview the heads of the NPOs. Students then write a research paper and advocate for their chosen NPO with an oral presentation and video ad. From the strength of the paper and the presentation, Magnified Giving awards grant money to the students’ organizations. This year, Voices for Parkinsons will receive a $1000 grant thanks to the efforts of Paige Miller, Corin Cook, Raegan Rigsby, Ryan Mayer, and Olivia Simpson. The Lebanon Food Pantry was awarded a $500 grant thanks to the work of Jacob Allen, Zach Roberts, and Aiden Ballinger. All of our seniors worked hard and learned the value of donating their time, talents, and treasure.
