Blue Devils Set for Exciting Week of Athletics
The Reading Blue Devils are ready for an action-packed week as fall sports officially kick into high gear.
High school volleyball opens their regular season at home on Monday with a matchup against Miami Valley Christian Academy. Later in the week, the spotlight shifts to junior high volleyball as they host Indian Hill on Thursday for their first regular season home game.
Friday night brings one of the most meaningful traditions in Reading athletics—the annual Andy Ramsey Night. The Blue Devils varsity football team will host Williamsburg in their regular season opener. Senior Jackson Hirt will wear Andy’s #12 jersey as we honor and celebrate the legacy of Andy.
The weekend action continues on Saturday as all four volleyball teams—7th grade, 8th grade, JV, and Varsity—travel to Bethel-Tate High School to take on the Tigers.
Please note: the JV football game originally scheduled for Saturday at Williamsburg has been rescheduled to Monday, August 25th at 6:00 PM.
