BIG NEWS FOR FINANCIAL LITERACY IN OHIO!
We are thrilled to announce that Reading Community City Schools has been awarded funding from the Ohio Credit Union Foundation to launch Living It: Building Financial Futures, a groundbreaking middle-school financial literacy and career readiness initiative designed to equip students with real-world skills that impact their future success.
This program will empower every 8th grader to develop core financial skills in budgeting, saving, taxes, insurance, and opportunity cost, while exploring career pathways, hands-on simulations, and authentic community engagement.
