Exciting opportunities are now available for seniors as local scholarship applications officially open for the Class of 2026. A wide variety of community-sponsored scholarships are ready for students to apply, offering financial support for those planning to continue their education after graduation.
Students can find scholarship packets organized and available at the school, each highlighting different opportunities supported by local organizations, businesses, and community members. These scholarships recognize a range of student achievements and qualities including academic success, leadership, service, financial need, career interests, and involvement in school activities. Packets are available outside of Mr. Thamann's classroom or in counselors office.
Many scholarships are designed to support students entering a variety of fields such as business, science, education, healthcare, and technical careers. Others honor community values like service, character, and leadership—giving many seniors a strong chance to earn support for their next steps after high school.
Seniors are encouraged to review the scholarship descriptions carefully and apply for any opportunities that match their experiences and goals. Completing applications early will also give students time to request any needed materials such as transcripts, GPAs, or letters of recommendation.
All local scholarship applications are due by Thursday, March 12 at 2:15 p.m. Completed applications must be submitted to the JRSH Office by the deadline.
