It was Mock Madness this weekend as the Blue Devils, who on the strength of a 6-0 preliminary trials record, advanced to the State’s Elite Eight for the fifth time in the program’s history. Their amazing run ended in the quarterfinals but coaches Andy Janig and John McClellan could not be more proud of the fighting spirit of all of Reading Mockers. They walked out of the Franklin County Courthouse with their heads held high knowing they represented their families, their community and their school with dignity and respect. Congratulations to Ariel Baston, William Moeggenberg, Lorena Zander and Kaine Colvard and a special shout out to all-state attorneys Kiersten Kleehamer and Cam Millette. Kleehamer won the award in two separate trials. And finally, a special shout out to Alan Noffsinger, who earned all-state witness honors.
