The Reading Dance Team capped off an outstanding season this past weekend at the Showcase America Nationals competition held at Mount St. Joseph University. Competing against talented teams from across the region, both our Varsity and Junior Dance Teams represented Reading with pride, energy, and exceptional performances across multiple dance styles.
The Varsity Dance Team delivered an impressive showing, earning 2nd place in Lyrical, 3rd place in Jazz, and 2nd place in Hip Hop. Their strong performances across all categories reflected the team’s versatility and commitment to excellence. As a result of their high-level execution, the Varsity team was selected to compete in the prestigious “Best of the Best” round with their Jazz routine. In that final showcase, they rose to the occasion once again, earning a silver medal and solidifying their place among the top performers of the competition.
The Junior Dance Team also had a tremendous showing, demonstrating growth and determination throughout the event. They earned 4th place in Jazz, 3rd place in Lyrical, and 3rd place in Hip Hop, highlighting the depth and promise of the program’s future.

Your hard work, dedication, and passion for your craft continue to shine through in every performance.
