RJSH Student Artists Shine at District Art Show

This past week, Reading Junior Senior High School proudly showcased student talent at the annual District Art Show.  The event gave families, staff, and community members a chance to see the creativity and hard work of RJSH students on display.

Under the guidance of the fine arts team, including Ms. Laura Freese, Mr. Jeremy Newell, and Ms. Jodi Kessler, students created a wide variety of artwork.  The show included colorful name designs, detailed drawings, origami pieces, and mixed media projects.  Each piece showed the unique style and voice of the student who created it.

Visitors were especially impressed by the range of materials and techniques used.  Some students focused on shading and drawing, while others explored bright colors, patterns, and 3D designs.  The artwork showed growth, effort, and a strong understanding of artistic skills.  The District Art Show was more than just an exhibit.  It was a celebration of student learning and creativity.  Students had the chance to share their work with others and take pride in what they created.

RJSH thanks the fine arts team for their support and leadership, as well as the families and community members who came out to enjoy the show.  Experiences like this help students build confidence and express themselves in meaningful ways.
