Reading Junior High art students will have their artwork displayed at the Reading Community Arts Center in June.
The art show will celebrate two big events. The first is the 175th anniversary of the City of Reading. The second is the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.
Students created artwork that shows pride in their city, school, and country. Some pieces include the number 175, the City of Reading, local businesses, stars, stripes, and red, white, and blue designs. Each piece shows the creativity and hard work of our junior high artists.
Community members will be able to view the student artwork during the June art show. At the opening of the show, one student will be chosen as the artistic winner in the junior high category.
Reading Junior High is proud of these students for sharing their talents with the community. Their artwork helps celebrate Reading’s history and the future of our country. Families, students, staff, and community members are encouraged to visit the Reading Community Arts Center in June to see the artwork and support our young artists.
