This fall, Reading Football is proud to welcome several student-athletes from Lockland High School to our Blue Devil family.
Unfortunately, Lockland did not have the numbers needed to field a football team this season. When it became clear that their student-athletes needed another opportunity to take the field, our two neighboring districts came together with one goal in mind: give kids the opportunity to play the game they love.
We’re excited to welcome these young men to Reading, and we look forward to seeing them compete alongside our Blue Devils this season. While they may be wearing Reading across their chests on Friday nights, we know they’ll also be proudly representing their school and community.
Thank you to the coaches, athletic departments, families, and leaders from both communities who worked together to make this opportunity possible.
