This month, our 4th graders have been focusing on what it means to be a great teammate. Students have practiced working with different classmates, collaborating with partners and groups, and persevering through challenges.
In science, students put their teamwork skills to the test by working in groups to build the tallest tower possible using only index cards! When towers fell, students had to communicate, problem-solve, and keep trying rather than give up.
We wrapped up by discussing the qualities of a great team member and what successful teamwork looks, sounds, and feels like. We are so proud of the way our students are learning to work together, persevere, and lift each other up!
