Reading Community City School District welcomed students and families to its second annual College & Career Fair on Thursday, October 22. Held during parent-teacher conferences, the event brought colleges, employers, military representatives, and community organizations together in the gym to help students explore their options after graduation.
Families had the opportunity to connect directly with representatives, ask questions, and learn about college programs, career pathways, military service, and employment opportunities. The evening encouraged students to consider how their interests and strengths can connect to future education and careers.
The event also featured information sessions on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and College Credit Plus (CCP), helping families better understand financial aid and opportunities to earn college credit while in high school.
